Pre-Order Now!

Rather than let disconnection bring your relationship down, learn to repair, reconnect, and thrive with your partner through the UPLIFT Program.

If you’re feeling disconnected from your partner, even though you care deeply about each other, you’re not alone. It’s all too common for couples to get stuck in patterns of miscommunication, frustration, or emotional distance, and it can be hard to know how to move forward or create real change.

The Journey Back to Us offers a practical, research-based guide for rebuilding a stronger, more meaningful partnership. Drawing from her experience as a clinical psychologist, Dr. Shelley Sommerfeldt introduces the UPLIFT Program, a guide that gives you and your partner a clear, accessible path to reconnect and grow together.

As you move through the program, you’ll find real-life examples, reflective exercises, and guided conversations to help you better understand your emotional needs and take accountability for your part in your relationship. You’ll gain tools for communicating more openly, handling conflict in healthier ways, and rebuilding trust and intimacy. The UPLIFT Program is here to support you in letting go of old resentment and building a more intentional relationship rooted in appreciation, shared meaning, and emotional safety.

The Journey Back to Us will help you see that reconnecting with your partner is possible and within reach. Rather than offering quick fixes, this book gives you practical tools you can use every day to strengthen your bond, rebuild connection, and create lasting change together.
