Individual Therapy

Sometimes the most important relationship you can work on is the one you have with yourself.

Life has a way of pulling us in every direction—leaving us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns we can't seem to break no matter how hard we try. Maybe you're struggling in your relationships and starting to wonder what role you play. Maybe you're carrying old wounds that keep showing up in your present life. Or maybe you just know something needs to change, but you're not sure where to start.

Individual therapy is a space that belongs entirely to you. A place to slow down, get honest, and start understanding the deeper roots of what's keeping you stuck—so you can finally move forward with more clarity, confidence, and intention.

Dr. Shelley works with adult individuals navigating a wide range of challenges, including relationship struggles, communication patterns, personal growth, life transitions, self-worth, and the lasting impact of past experiences. Her approach is warm, direct, and collaborative—she won't just listen, she'll help you connect the dots and make real, lasting change.

Because insight alone isn't enough. Real growth happens when awareness meets accountability—and that's exactly what this work is designed to do.

You don't have to keep going in circles. Schedule a free consultation with Dr. Shelley and let's talk about what's getting in your way—and how to move through it.

You deserve a psychologist who understands people—not just problems.

Dr. Shelley brings nearly 20 years of clinical experience working with adults who are ready to understand themselves more deeply and live more intentionally. Her training spans Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and several others. These are frameworks that help clients not only identify what's not working, but understand why and what to do about it.

Her work is rooted in one core belief: that lasting change doesn't come from surface-level fixes. It comes from getting honest about your patterns, owning your part, and building the self-awareness to show up differently—in your relationships, your career, and your everyday life.

And that philosophy lives beyond the therapy room too.

Dr. Shelley is the author of the upcoming book, The Journey Back to Us: A Couple's Guide to UPLIFTing Love and Restoring Connection—and while the book speaks directly to couples, its foundation is deeply personal. Because the truth is, every relationship struggle starts somewhere inside us. Understanding your own roots, your own patterns, and your own role in the dynamic is where real transformation begins.

Whether you're working with Dr. Shelley one-on-one or reading her book as a starting point, the message is the same: growth is possible, and you are worth the investment.
