Insurance Coverage

At this time, we are not in-network with any insurance provider. If you qualify for out of network benefits for psychotherapy services, you may request a superbill document that you can submit to your insurance provider. It is recommended that you contact your insurance company directly to inquire about any mental health treatment coverage that you may have.

Payment is due at the time of service and the superbill document, which is essentially a receipt of services rendered will be given at the end of the month, at your request, for submission to possibly receive reimbursement. Also, please note that you are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate regarding the cost of services. You may read more here.

Please note that most health insurance companies do require a mental health diagnosis for medical coverage as well as a psychotherapy treatment code. Coaching, on the other hand, is not a service covered by health insurance. You can read more on the difference of therapy and coaching here or discuss with Dr. Shelley during your initial phone consultation, which services may fit you best.
